We are currently looking for part-time Hosts for our two hotels in Bergen:

• Part-time evening and night shift at Citybox Bergen
• Part-time night shift at Citybox Danmarksplass

A little different – but on purpose

At Citybox, we do things a little differently. We have designed the guest journey to be largely self-service, with digital solutions for check-in and check-out. That is why we have opted out of the traditional reception and call it the Host Office instead. This does not mean less service. It means service when it is actually needed.

For us, the role of Host is about being present at the hotel and ensuring that guests get the help and security they need both before they arrive and during their stay.

What does a Host at Citybox do?

As a Host, you have a wide and varied range of responsibilities in the hotel’s daily operations. Your tasks include:

• Welcoming guests and helping them when needed
• Taking responsibility for problem solving and following up on inquiries
• Contributing to good flow, quality, and safety in the hotel
• Following routines and ensuring that the hotel functions properly at all times
• Performing practical and operational tasks in the hotel as needed
• Working independently on duty, but always as part of a team

At Citybox, you will have a flexible part-time job in a good, inclusive, and informal working environment. We are also growing. In 2027, we will open a brand new Citybox hotel in Bergen city center, our third in the city, as well as a new hotel in Tromsø. With hotels in several cities and countries, there are internal opportunities over time for those who want to develop further.
