Gallery Cafe is a cosy and atmospheric cafe and art space in the center of Tallinn at Rotermanni Kvartal. It is a nice place to have breakfast, meet friends for lunch, work with a laptop, or drop in for coffee with dessert. On the walls of the Gallery Cafe, you can see the works of artists from Estonia and other countries.

Barbarea is a restaurant and natural wine bar. The entire menu is inspired by different parts of the world, and the dishes are meant to be shared so that the whole experience can be enjoyed with others.



Half the menu consists of pizzas. The doughs are made from Estonian and Italian flours, and baked in a Gianni Acunto wood-fired oven.

Barbarea Restaurant

Gianni is a restaurant with classical Italian cuisine with a Michelin-star. In other words; if you really want a night out, this is the place to go! 



The restaurant itself has a wonderful atmosphere and very good service. But the food! That is where they really step up. Gianni has a rich selection of fresh fish and seafood, and we highly recommend you order one of those dishes. The chef works with passion and offers exceptional tastes that only comes from the freshest and best quality ingredients. The wine is also nothing to complain about, so if you enjoy a glass with your food we suggest you ask the waiter for a recommendation specifically to your dish. It is a bit pricier that some of the other restaurants in the Guide, but trust us. It&#8217;s worth it!



The restaurant is only a 10 minutes walk from the hotel, so you can get there in no time!

A cozy cafe with a pleasant interior located on the first floor of Tallinna Kaubamaja. Here you will find a variety of people, from students to people working remotely. The café has a wide selection of wines and several tasty dishes that changes almost daily. 



You&#8217;ll also find tempting and &#8220;instagrammable&#8221; cupcakes made on the spot. We recommend the Apple and Curd Cheese cupcake if you&#8217;re looking for something a little out of the ordinary.

Fotografiska is an international photo museum where world-class photography, honest and delicious food, and an open mindset meet. The house has three to four different exhibitions simultaneously. Kiek in de Kök Fortification Museum forms a museum complex over 500 meters long that includes four towers: Kiek in de Kök, Maiden&#8217;s Tower, Tallitorn Tower, and the Gate Tower of the Short Leg (Lühikese jala väravatorn). The fortification museum also includes mysterious underground bastion passages, which house the Carved Stone Museum.

Munga Kelder

The Estonian Museum of Architecture has a permanent exhibition of the models of the city, providing an overview of Estonian architecture in the 20th century. The museum is located in Rotermann salt storage, which is over 100 years old and one of the most remarkable examples of industrial architecture in Tallinn. The museum is only a 2min walk from the hotel.

The oldest Italian restaurant in Tallinn, is located in the heart of the medieval Latin Quarter, between the craft workshops on St. Catherine’s Passage. They offer traditional Italian cuisine with an exciting twist. Regulars know to book a table for the weekend!

Rukis have their own bakery and confectionery, managed by master bakers. We recommend starting your morning there. Each morning, their rooms are filled with the smell of fresh bread and coffee. 



They fill the display case with freshly baked cakes. Fresh pastries and pies are prepared all day, depending on the customers&#8217; needs. We can almost guarantee that you will leave with a full tummy and a smile around your face.

RUKIS

A must-see for historian lovers! About 200 authentic items are on display at the historical seaplane hangar: a submarine called Lembit, a century-old icebreaker Suur Tõll, a seaplane called Short 184, remains of the oldest ship found in Estonia, and much more.

Suveterrass is a cafe/restaurant/rooftop bar near Port of Tallinn that brings together cool people, good food, delicious drinks, and a cozy vibe. This place isan all-year-round place. Added bonus, it&#8217;s only a 5min walk from the hotel.



The interior is super cozy and you also get to enjoy a beautiful view of the yacht harbor and the Old Town.

In addition, Vabamu has an engaging family level specifically designed for children with a smart family e-guide. Restaurant Kaerajaan is a modern version of local traditions. It is named after a local traditional dance, and the entire place is influenced by the Estonian cultural heritage. The chefs use the best seasonal and local ingredients to prepare dishes with a modern twist to the Estonian classics. 



Once your inside the restaurant you will feel the warm and cosy atmosphere to your core. The copper decorations resemble the old traditional reed compositions, and the gigantic lights with mittens will enchant you from your first visit.

Of course! Extra towels, a water kettle, and extra pillows are available in our Citybox Host Office on the ground floor.

Can I get extra towels?

Unfortunately, we don’t have our own parking facilities. You can park in a garage under our hotel. EuroPark parking zone Porto Franco (EP400),max hight is 2,4m. The price is 10 €/24 hours. 



Parking is also available in the EuroPark outside parking zone (EP42) next to the hotel. The price is 6 €/24 hours.

We may be budget-friendly, but we don’t skimp on the essentials! Leave your towels and sheets at home; we’ve got you covered.

Should I bring my own sheets? 

At Citybox Hotels, we believe in making sure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. That’s why all our rooms are equipped with a comfy bed, a desk and chair, and a modern bathroom with soap, shampoo, and a hairdryer. Some of the rooms also have a small seating area for you to kick back and relax and make yourself at home.

What does my room include?

They are amazing, right? We get our beds from <a href="http://www.hildinganders.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.hildinganders.com</a> which usually only delivers to hotels. However, they carry different brands, and the Jensen bed would be equivalent to the beds we have at the hotel.

Where are the beds from?

We gladly accept Visa and Mastercard as payment options both on our website and in the hotels. For prepaid bookings, we also offer Apple Pay. 



We do not accept American Express as a payment option, but we do accept it as a guarantee on our website. 



Cash payment is accepted across all of our hotels (except for Citybox Helsinki), but you need a valid credit or debit card as a guarantee. This card doesn&#8217;t get charged (unless something unexpected happens); It&#8217;s primarily intended for security reasons.

Which payment options do you accept?

Yes! Our luggage storage is open for all guests before check-in and after check-out. Simply use the terminals to get a keycard for the luggage room. Please note that luggage is stored at the guest&#8217;s own risk. And as always, if you need help ask our hosts at the hotel!
